Lymphology Training Programs


Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of lymphedema training programs. Not all courses within these programs meet the LANA eligibility requirements.

Candidates trained on or after January 1, 2022, must meet the following eligibility requirements

  • 45 hours (⅓ of 135 hours) of content delivered in the following method: in-person OR asynchronous remote OR synchronous remote OR a combination of in-person, asynchronous remote, and/or synchronous remote
  • 90 hours (⅔ of 135 hours) of content delivered: in-person OR synchronous remote OR a combination of in-person and synchronous remote
  • In-person assessment by the program director or program instructor of psychomotor skills MUST occur in the same physical space; remote assessment will NOT be accepted.

*Candidates trained prior to January 1, 2022 may take the exam if they met the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 135 course credit hours on Complete Decongestive Therapy
  • 45 hours theoretical instruction (onsite and/or remote learning)
  • 90 hours practical lab work (onsite, real-time instruction with an instructor present)
