Kathy Weatherly, is an Occupational Therapist who has been specializing in lymphedema since
1994. She holds a BA in Art and Occupational Therapy and a BS in Business from Mount Mary
College. In 1994, she was trained by Prof. Leduc in the Leduc method of Lymphedema treatment,
she has completed the introductory, advanced and certification levels of training offered by
Albert and Oliver Leduc. Kathy co-developed an edema program, Manual Edema Mobilization
[MEM], utitlizing the concepts of manual lymphatic drainage for treatment in acute and chronic
edema found in occupational and physical therapy practice settings. She has taught this program
From 1995 until February, 2000, she managed the 12 satellite centers for The Lymphedema
Center programs in Wisconsin. She is currently the owner of Solaris, Inc., Brookfield, WI., which
manufactures and distributes specialty products for lymphedema treatment. She continues to
treat lymphedema patients through her private practice CRS, LLC.
Kathy has been actively involved in developing lymphedema prevention programs and patient
education programs in Wisconsin.
