Nancy Ash Hutchison, MD

Dr. Hutchison specializes in Lymphedema Treatment and Cancer Rehabilitation at the Sister Kenny Institute and Virginia Piper Cancer Institute on the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Hutchison founded the Breast Cancer Lymphedema and Rehabilitation Clinic at the Piper Breast Center in 2000. She started a comprehensive Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic at Virginia Piper Cancer Institute in 2006. She works closely with the Minneapolis Heart Institute vascular program and the Abbott Northwestern Hospital Wound Clinic in the treatment of primary lymphedema and vascular edemas. Dr. Hutchison is a member of the Piper Breast Center Advisory Board, Abbott Northwestern Hospital Cancer Committee, National Lymphedema Network, International Society of Lymphology and the Cancer Special Interest Group of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Hutchison has a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, MD from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, Specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Minnesota, and Certification as a Lymphedema Therapist from Klose Training.
